Makati Life Medical Center took another milestone in strengthening collaborative healthcare with the ceremonial contract signing between the hospital and CocoLife, strengthening the growing partnership rooted in shared values and a common goal of improving patient care.
From the launch of Makati Life’s 24/7 Outpatient Department, CocoLife has stood as one of the hospital’s early healthcare partners, supporting accessible and continuous care for its members. With the hospital now operational, the growing partnership reflects a shared commitment to grow alongside Makati Life’s expanding services and capabilities.
The contract signing brought together leaders from both institutions, underscoring the role of collaboration in shaping a more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable healthcare system. Representing CocoLife was Atty. Alloysius Yebra, Executive Vice President and Head of Healthcare, who expressed CocoLife’s full support for the partnership and shared his admiration for Makati Life Medical Center’s vision, particularly its commitment to advancing effective public–private partnerships that create meaningful impact for patients and communities.
Atty. Yebra emphasized that the strengthened collaboration aligns closely with CocoLife’s mission to improve healthcare access for its members, noting that partnerships with institutions like Makati Life help elevate service standards while bridging gaps in care.
Makati Life Medical Center leaders echoed this optimism. Dr. Dennis L. Sta. Ana, President and CEO, expressed confidence in the partnership’s long-term potential, highlighting how collaborations with forward-thinking healthcare organizations contribute to better continuity of care and improved patient outcomes as the hospital grows.
Adding a human-centered perspective, Ms. Josephine C. Aguilar, Chief Marketing Officer of Makati Life Medical Center, commended the hospital’s commitment to patient experience, highlighting not only clinical excellence but also the quality of food services and overall comfort, details that play an essential role in healing and recovery.
Following the contract signing, CocoLife representatives were given a guided tour of Makati Life Medical Center’s facilities, offering a closer look at the hospital’s integrated approach to care. The tour included the Rehabilitation Room, designed to support holistic recovery; the Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab), equipped with advanced technology for cardiac diagnostics and interventions; and the HMO Concierge, a dedicated service space ensuring seamless coordination and support for HMO members.
The visit showcased Makati Life Medical Center’s readiness to deliver efficient, compassionate, and human-centered care as it enters this new chapter as a fully operational hospital.
As Makati Life Medical Center continues to expand its services and partnerships, its growing collaboration with CocoLife stands as a testament to shared values, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to putting people first, today and in the years to come.
